A Wide Range of Magnification is Important!

QCSI and Acu-Gage offer a wide variety of lens solutions to meet any need. The micro lens is used for higher magnification and the macro lens for lower magnification. This gives the end user added flexibility to measure small parts at higher accuracy (micro)  and view larger parts with a field of view of up to 2 ½ inches (macro). They also have the ability to provide fixed optics solutions for high magnification and high precision measurements.

Micro Zoom Lenses can Provide Magnification Ranges of approximately 24 to over 1000x

If your application requires magnification ranges of 24x to 276x or higher you will need a micro system.  Micro Lens systems are configured with a lens, adapter tube, and camera to meet the specific needs of the application. The most common configuration is a 6x lens with a 1x adapter tube to yield magnification of approximately 42x (lower magnification) to 276x (higher magnification) on the high end.

Macro Zoom Lenses Provide Magnification of approximately 4 to 60 x with fields of view of over 2 inches

If your application requires looking at more than ½ inches of the part at one time, you need a macro lens for magnification.  With a close up lens included you will find it easy to image parts at a working distance of 5” to over 12”.

Use a lens with Aperture Adjust (light), Zoom, and Variable Lens adjustment built in to the lens

If you have a wide variety of parts with a desire to inspect many different magnifications and field of views of features, flexibility will be desired. This will allow you to view parts quickly, easily, and with little effort.

Fixed Optics Provide High Magnification and High Precision Measurements

The Quick release design allows easy access to utilize the capabilities of both the micro and macro lenses.
