Macro Video Inspection

Optimum Mounting Hardware

Depending on your environment and workspace requirements the optimum mounting hardware can be configured. The following types will maximize your workspace environment.

Single Arm

A Single Arm boom stand is ideal for inspecting large parts from only a few inspection angles. The heavy build of the single arm system prevents accidental movement or adjustments while providing the ease of view that comes from a table-top inspection system.

Dual Arm

The Dual Arm boom stand has the stability of the standard boom stand but with the ultra-smooth movement of a ball bearing slide. Great for inspection applications where magnification and the ability to move across a specimen are important.

Articulated Arm

An Articulated Arm boom stand allows for top-down or angled viewing. Some parts require inspection from easily adjusted, multiple angles. Additionally, systems that utilize led based lighting can occasionally create glare when the lens is positioned top-down, the ability to switch angles allows the viewer to avoid distracting instances of glare.

Table Mount

Useful for mounting to edge of table to free up workspace on table.

Gliding Stage

Gliding Stage can be useful for manually scanning parts for inspection

Adding a gliding stage to the boom stand configuration will give you the ability to position parts on the stage and move the components under the lens quickly and easily. This can be useful for large parts that have a large number of components to be inspected or very small parts which can be difficult to find on a table top.
